Even though the launch of the Galaxy S23 series is a week away from today, there is little that we do not know about it. Samsung hasn’t been able to stop the leaks, and as a result, almost all the Galaxy S23 specifications have been leaked over the past few months. Today we also learned that Samsung is bringing better video quality with its upcoming high-end phones.
Tipster Ice Universe has revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have much better portrait video quality. According to the tipster, the next flagship smartphone from the South Korean company could record portrait videos in 4K 30fps. This is much better than the 1080p 30fps video that the Galaxy S22 Ultra can capture. It was also revealed a few days ago that the Galaxy S23 series can record 8K 30fps videos (limited to 3K 24fps in the Galaxy S22).
The rumor claims that Samsung has not only improved the resolution but also the background separation and background blur quality in the portrait video mode of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is still unclear whether all these improvements are limited to the Galaxy S23 Ultra only or other models in the lineup also feature better portrait video.
The tipster also revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra also has a decent heat management system for relatively smooth continuous performance. All Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra units sold globally will feature an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and will be called the ‘Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy’.
